Hiking

tourists can explore over 250 km of footpaths (incl. altitude trails to Zermatt and Saas Fee). Also popular are the walks running along the four 400 year old irrigation channels which channel water from the Ried Glacier stream to water the fields in our low rainfall region.

Another special experience for families is a walk through the magnificent mountain landscape and along the Ravensburger Games Trail.

Mountainbike

Grächen is also home to some varied marked mountain biking trails.

Vita Parcours, Kneipp garde by the lake

The Vita Parcours mostly runs through the shady mountain forests. You will also find Switzerland's first Kneipp garden by the Grächner See lake.

Sport Centre

The sports centre offers a football pitch, fitness centre, indoor tennis course, climbing wall and a chance to play badminton, table tennis and billiards as well as an indoor games centre and the Robis leisure park alongside, where children's dreams can come true!

Swimming

The neighbouring village of St. Niklaus provides a swimming pool and the exclusively furnished thermal pool in Brigerbad is just half an hour away.

Zermatt, Saas-Fee & Altesch glacier around the corner

Grächen is also an ideal starting point for excursions to Zermatt, Saas Fee, the Aletsch region and Upper Valais.
