The most important things in brief:
- Grächen has 44 km of pistes
- Eleven lifts take you up to 2864 m above sea level. M.
- The culinary offer around the slopes is varied.
Slopes
The Grächen ski area offers winter sports enthusiasts an impressive piste experience with a total of 44 kilometers of perfectly groomed pistes. These slopes are divided into different levels of difficulty: 9 km are easy (20 %), 33 km are medium (75 %) and 2 km are difficult (5 %).
The varied slopes are ideal for a wide range of skiers, from beginners and leisure skiers to experienced professionals.
Grächen is highlighted for its top slope preparation!
There are special areas for families and children, such as the Dwarf Paradise, the Talent Forge and the Family Park.
In addition, a Family Funslope offers fun for young and old to practise their skiing and snowboarding skills. Squealing with delight over steep bends, through a tunnel or down over waves? You can put your sporting skills to the test on the fun line. It offers fun skiing variety for young and old – the action you’ve been longing for on your skiing vacation in Grächen.
There is also a race line: How fast are you on the slopes? Compete with friends or family on the race line! Experience your personal “moment of fame” with your turns – and then watch it online via your ski pass. Almost like the ski stars on TV!
The freestyle line is also new: cool shaped kickers in sizes S and M await in the separate, snow-covered zone. Here snow bunnies of all levels can have fun and practise their skills. The rail park at the end of the freestyle line in the middle of the mountain scenery will make your heart beat faster.
The “Paradiesli – Bärgji” black piste is a particularly challenging descent with a length of 2.0 km.
The ski area is also known for its guaranteed snow.
You are welcome to improve your snowboarding and skiing skills at the Valais Snowsports School or the Swiss Ski School.
Systems and lifts

The Grächen ski area has 11 lifts. The lifts include 1 gondola lift, 3 chairlifts, 5 T-bar lifts and 3 magic carpets or conveyor belts.
One highlight is the unique fairytale gondola lift that runs from the village up to Hannigalp. Some gondolas are beautifully decorated and tell fairy tales during the ride.
The Hannigalp cable car takes you comfortably up to 2,114 meters above sea level, and from there further lifts take you even higher up into the Seetal region, up to 2,864 meters above sea level.
